Booking FYI & Cancellations Policy

General Booking Guidelines:

If you're reading this, then you're probably ready to book on-line. For each property, you can click the "Availability" link and see the available dates. Choose the dates you want and hit "Book Now". You will then be taken to our booking website where you will be given instructions on how to complete your booking.

 

Once you've entered your reservation, we must receive your Security Deposit (50% of total rental amount) within 7 days. Your Final Payment will be due no fewer than 21 days before your Check-In date.

 

A 100% refundable Damage Deposit is due upon Check-In.

 

If we do not receive your Security Deposit within 7 days we will consider your reservation cancelled and will re-open the dates. If we do not receive your Final Payment 21 days prior to your Check-In we reserve the right to re-open your dates for others. As such, we will either issue you a refund less the cancellation fees (see our Cancellation Policy) or hold your Security Deposit as credit for a future booking.

 

Paying with a credit card:

If you want to pay with a credit card, you must choose Credit Card as the payment method when you make the reservation. If you have chosen to pay with a credit card, the Security Deposit will be charged to your card within 48 hours. If you want us to wait the full 7 days before charging your credit card, you must indicate this when you make the reservation in the Guest Notes or email us immediately at info@casagrandevilla.com.

 

Last Minute Bookings:

Any reservations made with fewer than 21 days to Check-In will require Full Payment(100%) within 7 days of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

One key to customer satisfaction is communication. To this end, we want to be clear about our cancellation policy.

 

In all cases, credit card refunds will be subject to the additional processing fees charged to us as a result of our accepting credit cards. In most cases this is 2-4% of the transaction amount in addition to any other stated fees.

 

Once we receive your Security Deposit (charged within 48 hours if you booked using a credit card), there is a 5% (of total booking costs) fee for any cancellations.

 

Once we receive your Final Payment (21 days prior to Check-In), your Security Deposit becomes non-refundable.

 

For Last Minute reservations, (fewer than 21 days prior to Check-In), there is no penalty for cancellations before we receive your Full Payment. After we receive full Payment, there is a 5% fee for cancellations at least 24 hours prior to Check-In.

 

Last Minute cancellations less than 24 hours prior to Check-In will be charged for at least one night of rental.

 

Cancellations due to Weather:

If you are unable to reach Puerto Rico or Rincon because of weather systems local to Puerto Rico, you will be entitled to a 100% refund (less credit card processing fees if applicable).

 

If you are unable to reach Puerto Rico because of weather systems outside of Puerto Rico, we will allow you to change the dates for up to three years from the original booking date.

 

Changing Dates:

There is no fee for changing dates 21 days prior to Check-In. There is a 5% fee for changing dates between 21 days and 7 days prior to Check-In. Changing dates fewer than 7 days to Check-In will result in 25% fee of the original booking.
